/Senior Buyer

As Senior Buyer, you are the link between the project management and the supply chain functions. With reference to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be an integrated team member in the various project teams as responsible for procurement and logistics.

The following competencies and behavioural skills are required:

• Ability to communicate effectively in order to provide the project managers and suppliers with the right information
• Thrustworthy relationship building
• Understand business from a strategic point
• Experience with negotiation, pricing and strategic procurement in cooperation with project managers, suppliers and the rest of the supply chain team
• Ability to handle both simple and complex questions and processes regarding technical components
• Ability to work in a team and to participate actively in a learning and development culture
• Quick to adopt new ideas and highly adaptable learning style
• Fluent in English both written and oral , German is an advantage
• Experience with operational procurement
• Experience from the technical industry

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of the sourcing strategy and maintenance of relationships and agreements with various existing or potential suppliers.
• Negotiation, pricing and strategic procurement
• Terms and conditions
• Participate at component inspections
• Evaluate supplier facilities and capabilities
• Ensure compliance with SiccaDania work processes and quality assurance
• Problem solving in regards to supply chain challenges
• Administrative tasks within procurement and logistics administration
• Help project managers during execution and take the lead on supply chain tasks in collaboration with the project managers
• Participate in driving higher efficiency in the supply chain function through standardisation and knowledge sharing.
• Order handling in cooperation with the project managers
• Issue, forwarding and invoicing purchase orders
